個人使命／願景
在參與香港浸信會神學院道學碩士課程之前，我修讀了一門有關新約引用舊約經文的神學課程。課程講師盧允晞博士讓我從歷史的角度認識到引文研究之多樣及創新的方法。我被引文研究對理解新約經文的重要性所吸引。海斯（Richard B. Hays）在他《福音書中以色列經卷的迴響》（Echoes of Scripture in the Gospels）一書中，進一步建立了我對引文如何描繪福音敘述的詩意願景。 我對文本互涉、敘事學和福音敘事的興趣亦因而成為我博士論文的核心焦點。
在愛丁堡接受神學訓練期間，我也受到我指導教授艾傑克（Alison Jack）的影響，從各種文學和社會科學的角度來研究聖經文本。各種聖經解釋，為不同釋經方法的使用和聖經文本的含義提供了新的見解，特別是福音敘事和收錄在正典福音書之耶穌比喻的解讀。
在往後的學術及神學教育旅程中，我亦會嘗試透過使用聖經神學，將我的學術研究與基督教群體的信仰結合起來。 在我看來，解釋聖經文本的神學化過程將引導我在正典處境下認識三一上帝與門徒團體間的關係。
此外，在我的神學教育事工中，我將致力為持續的神學教育和培訓、牧者的工作和會眾的生活聯繫起來。
